Hi'ilani is a free early childhood family education program that serves children prenatal to 36 months of age and their families. A child's first 3 years are a critical time during which they begin the development of emotional stability, physical health and development, cognitive skills, problem solving skills and social competence. Hi'ilani offers small group classes that focus on tools and techniques that promote preschool readiness through positive parent-child interactions. Parents can also meet individually with program staff for information and resources that help nurture and stimulate their child's development.

Hawaii Haunted Plantation-
This annual Halloween haunted attraction is set in the reportedly haunted Hawaii's Plantation Village located in Waipahu on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The Halloween haunt got its start in 2006 and has quickly grown to be one of Hawaii's most respected Halloween haunted attractions. During each night of its two-night run in 2007, the haunt was overwhelmed by the estimated 7,000 people that showed up and were forced to close their gates two hours before closing. The attraction is put together by GroundUp Productions who doubled the nights in 2008 and upped the fear factor. The haunt is spread out throughout the Village's complex and advertises itself as "Hawaii's largest and scariest haunted event."
The Attraction
The Haunted Plantation plays off the reports of ghosts and paranormal activity that lurks at Hawaii's Plantation Village. Throughout the outdoor haunt, visitors will encounter ghosts, ghouls and unimaginable monsters lurking in the shadows. They will also be assaulted by intense audio and lighting and fog, which make navigating the sometimes wet and demanding environment even more difficult. Due to its content, the haunt enforces an age limit.
